I have had the pleasure of knowing Meri since 1998 when she became a part of the Readers Network for a very popular metaphysical website. As the Operations Manager of the website, I was never able to become personally involved with the readers and therefore never had the pleasure of ordering a reading from her. Before I went into the room I had just been sitting here crying and beating myself up. Now I feel more calm..accepting things for what they are..you can't fault or change people. I had to write to you. Guess what, I just became an independent contractor. At what you may ask? Remember I told you I called those resume services on Sunday. Well the one I actually spoke to on Sunday, his wife called this morning and asked me if I would also do Dictaphone, dissertations, as well as resumes. I said sure why not. So she sent me some samples, and we are going to meet in a few weeks to get started.

They are right down the street from me. She asked me how much I charge and I told her I have never done this before but I thought between 12-15$ an hour. We would work on a 1099 basis which is fine with me. I explained my situation and that I was looking to supplement my income and would continue doing this after I got back to work full -time. So cool beaners.

Also the temp agency has a full-time position I am waiting to hear back on for a company called Biologic. They have a position which is totally in my field. It is called a Communications Specialist and that is what I have been doing. At this point, anything so I do not have to take Carson's if it is offered would make me a very happy camperette. Oh also, one other of the services I called Sunday called me yesterday and I sent my stuff to him. So maybe 2 services will give me work and I am off and running. So when I open my own resume/counseling idea I will have references. Woo hoo.

Hopefully this is the start of a really good positive trend to this situation. I just had to share with you. :-)

Thank you so much, Meri. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your help, warmth, and kindness. It means a lot to me to know that Morris knows that I love him always and forever.

I also appreciate the direction you helped provide to me. What a wondrous blessing. This direction of using my gift to help others provided a right feeling, or a feeling of clarity that I have not had since Morris passed.

Also, thank you for helping me to see I have a right to some sense of anger at Morris' compartmentalizing and segregating himself even as I understand that he did not intend it to be hurtful. I know I can feel this now without the same bite it may have had once, but also without guilt. Thank you.

Last, I want to thank you for listening and allowing me an outlet to grieve. I felt such sorrow last night and had no one to whom I could turn who would understand. Your kindness meant a lot.
