The check and money was on my "BROWN" dresser in a trinket box that Sophia gave to me for Valentines Day a few years ago. Her plaid kilt skirt laid right next to this dresser in MY ROOM. In fact, it was unusual that the skirt was left in my room as I had did laundry for her school uniform the day before and it fell on the FLOOR.

I found it about 15 minues after our call. I was unable to connect and went food shopping.

Although I don't consult her very often, it is a great comfort to me to know that Meri is there when I need her. I have worked with other talented and accurate psychics, but Meri is the one that really resonates for me. It has amazed me that she has remembered me and noted my personal growth between readings, since much time has elapsed between them and I'm sure she's given thousands of other readings in the meantime.

Meri is very up-front and honest enough to tell me things I don't especially want to hear, and she does it with great warmth, compassion, and respect for the client. I have had the pleasure of knowing Meri since 1998 when she became a part of the Readers Network for a very popular metaphysical website. As the Operations Manager of the website, I was never able to become personally involved with the readers and therefore never had the pleasure of ordering a reading from her. Since that time, I have been fortunate enough to become a steady client through another popular website and have since set upon a journey to "a circle in time". She told me I was going to move in January of this year, that I would find the place even better than I had dreamed. I poo-pooed the thought that I would ever move right after the holidays, after all, one should move in spring or summer! I didn't believe her for a second--and BOY DID I EVER GET A SURPRISE. This is just to let people know that my experiences with Las have been spirit moving and eye opening...not only was she able to pinpoint the nature of my problem in a difficult situation, but to consistently offer me guidance and spiritual solutions to practical problems in making relationships work...always positive and uplifting.

I had to write to you. Guess what, I just became an independent contractor. At what you may ask? Remember I told you I called those resume services on Sunday. Well the one I actually spoke to on Sunday, his wife called this morning and asked me if I would also do Dictaphone, dissertations, as well as resumes. I said sure why not. So she sent me some samples, and we are going to meet in a few weeks to get started.

They are right down the street from me. She asked me how much I charge and I told her I have never done this before but I thought between 12-15$ an hour. We would work on a 1099 basis which is fine with me. I explained my situation and that I was looking to supplement my income and would continue doing this after I got back to work full -time. So cool beaners.

Also the temp agency has a full-time position I am waiting to hear back on for a company called Biologic. They have a position which is totally in my field. It is called a Communications Specialist and that is what I have been doing. At this point, anything so I do not have to take Carson's if it is offered would make me a very happy camperette. Oh also, one other of the services I called Sunday called me yesterday and I sent my stuff to him. So maybe 2 services will give me work and I am off and running. So when I open my own resume/counseling idea I will have references. Woo hoo.

Hopefully this is the start of a really good positive trend to this situation. I just had to share with you. :-)

I also appreciate the direction you helped provide to me. What a wondrous blessing. This direction of using my gift to help others provided a right feeling, or a feeling of clarity that I have not had since Morris passed.

Also, thank you for helping me to see I have a right to some sense of anger at Morris' compartmentalizing and segregating himself even as I understand that he did not intend it to be hurtful. I know I can feel this now without the same bite it may have had once, but also without guilt. Thank you.

Last, I want to thank you for listening and allowing me an outlet to grieve. I felt such sorrow last night and had no one to whom I could turn who would understand. Your kindness meant a lot.

Thanks Meri! I enjoyed our chat so much. I wanted to tell you when you asked at the end about his drinking or something to do with money.......... I have always kept his married life out of my life therefore I don't know a lot about it. Having said that I have always had a feeling that there is some kind of monetary thing that keeps him there. Kind of like maybe retirement funds or something that he does not want to have to start over. I know he has a couple of large debts and maybe that is why I think that. ( shrug ) anyway........Thanks for the completion. I will keep in mind what you said and much as I would like to have a relationship with him I will keep it at a distance. Meaning I won't see him. I will talk to him on the phone and online but not in person. Maybe at some point in the distant future I will be able to see him and keep control of the situation but not any time soon. On July 1, 2001, I requested a reading from Meri. In the process of choosing a reader, I am sure there are concerns on the type and degree of the reading the person is to receive. Unfortunately, many people may not know about the particular readers ability. Prior to receiving the order, I was skeptical in regards to gaining any information that either I did not know or care to know. I guess you can say a half hearted belief that the reading I was going to receive was not going to be valid.

Much to my surprise, upon receiving the order, I had the pleasure of receiving a detailed, accurate assessment of my strengths, my thoughts and my objectives. Dear Meri,
Once again, I just wanted to thank you for last night's reading. I really appreciate it and after processing it all day long, it makes a lot of sense and gives me some new insight into my direction for the next year. Honestly, the skeptic in me wants to doubt your ability; however, what you said hit home and I believe there is psychic ability in all of us to some degree (having a rather raw and random ability myself).

After reading the log today, I am glad that I did get a copy, because that last part that you wrote about seeing that I am a healer, really made me assess my current position. Actually, I am a school psychologist and for the most part I do IQ testing (i.e., diagnosing) and some counseling, but not really any healing (that I see anyway). I realized that is what causes me so much stress throughout the school year. Thank you, for that final input. It causes me great stress to tell parents about their children's difficulties and not really have the time to do any therapeutic work to help them deal with it. Thank you, now I have a better focus.

By the way, in many ways my future was determined by the work of a surgeon (could that be what you were seeing early in my reading when you mentioned the surgeon???), and great parents. I was born with severely clubbed feet (like a golf club, my toes curved in and touched my ankles), that couldn't be remedied with braces. By the time I was 2, I had 3 surgeries and 14 sets of casts. I have always kept that with me. Had it not been for the work of a surgeon, my life could have been very different. Anyhow, I was just wondering if maybe that was the surgeon you were seeing??
